Season’s Greetings|Joy to the World

I have been busy creating cards, gift card holders, tags, etc. for the holidays.  I had extra pieces laying around from projects that I completed and thought I would see what I could come up with.  Here is what my creative mind put together.

Seasons Greeting 3

I ran a piece of Hazelnut Blend (CS-0013) card stock through the Corrugated Board Embossing Folder (EF-0017).  Using my Hazelnut Blend (IP-0012) ink pad, I brushed over the top of the embossed piece to bring out the detail from the embossing folder.  I took a piece of Candy Apple Journey Tape (AC-0309) and added it to a scrap piece of Mirror Silver and Mirror Gold (CS-0136 and CS-0137). I then adhered that to a piece of Raspberry Berry (CS-0097) card stock before adhering it to a Rock Candy (CS-0031) card base.

Seasons Greeting

The Bells and Wreath come from the Medallion Wreath Die (DI-0250). The Bells were cut out of Mirror Gold and Mirror Silver (CS-0136 and CS-0137) and the Wreath was cut out of a piece from the Through the Year Prints (PP-0050).  I used Foam Squares (AD-0084) to adhere the Wreath to the front panel and then added the Bell using Easy Glide (AD-0081).  On the Gold card, I used Summer Play Sparkles (AC-0280) to accent the Wreath and on the Silver card, I used Fashion Silver (AC-0293) and Summer Play Sparkles (AC-0280).

The Season’s Greeting Sentiment came from the Sparkle Trim (SS-0495) stamp set.  I stamped one in Gold and one in Silver ink.  [this ink is not FSJ – I used what I had on hand but FSJ does carry both Gold and Silver ink – I will list them in the supply list below].  I then cut it out and used Foam Squares (AD-0084) to adhere it to the card front.

The inside sentiment came from the Merry Words (SS-0451) was stamped in Black Licorice (IP-0041) ink.

It’s a Party |Trick or Treat

Seems like more and more folks are having Halloween get together were a group of kids will go Trick or Treating and the parents get to catch-up with each other.  I thought this was a fun way to invite folks over.

I took a piece of Cocoa Powder (CS-0008) cardstock and embossed it using the Corrugated Board Embossing Folder (EF-0017).  I then took the Widow’s Web (SS-0222) stamp and stamped it in Buttercream (IP-0031) and onto the cardstock.  I did the same thing again with the Dark Roast (IP-0050) ink.  I applied Orange Rave (IP-0118) and Sparkle Silk (IP-0126) and then ripped the corner and then ripped up the middle a little bit and used the Journey Days Stapler (TO-0118) to add Silver Staples (TO-0120) (they come in gold as well).  This was adhered to Citrus Cooler (CS-0089) cardstock before being adhered to a Black Licorice (CS-0003) card base.

Its a Party 1
I love this little guy!!!

I stamped the Lil’ Monster (BD-0080) stamp in Black Licorice ink (IP-0041) onto Electric Lime (CS-0123) cardstock and cut it out with the matching die.  I popped him up onto the card front using Foam Squares (AD-0084 and AD-0085).  And then added Candy Minis (AC-0135) and Sweet Candy Drops (AC-0275) all over him.  This gives him great dimension.

I stamped It’s a Party from the Party Reminders (AT-0187) (there is a coordinating die for and it also comes in a bundle) in Black Licorice ink in the corner of the card front.  I felt something was missing, I wanted it to look more like he was at a party, so the Summer Play Sparkles (AC-0280) totally fit the bill for this.  I think it looks like he is at a disco party!!  LOVE IT!!!  (LOL).

Let the Trick or Treating Halloween Party begin!!!
