Summer is really my favorite time of year but you can’t beat the colors that fall has to offer. Nature is definitely one great work of art.
I love being inspired by the colors of nature. Amazing how Mother Nature always gets the color palette right.
For this card I used Buttercream Cardstock (CS-0006) cut at 3 3/4 x 5, Hazelnut Cardstock (CS-0013) cut at 4 x 5 1/4, Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock (CS-0023) and a piece of Fall Fest Prints (PP-0048) cut at 1 x 5.
I randomly stamped the smaller leaves from the Hello Fall Bundle (BD-0299) using Summer Days (IP-0042), Pineapple Smoothie (IP-0014), and Pumpkin Bread (IP-0057). The Greeting comes from the Pumpkin Kisses (SS-0526) stamp set and was stamped in Dark Roast (IP-0050).
The Maple Leaf from the Hello Fall Bundle was stamped in Tangerine Fusion Ink (IP-0005) onto a scrap piece of Buttercream Cardstock.
Then I stamped the image again onto another scrap piece of Buttercream Cardstock but this time I used my re-inkers and our Fusion Blender (IP-0088). You take a paper plate with some paper towels and put some generous drops of re-inker (in the colors of your choice) on the paper towel, then apply a generous amount of Fusion Blender.
Use this as your stamp pad.
I love how the colors all blend together and give you that “real” nature look. The re-inkers I used are: Summer Days (RI-0042), Pineapple Smoothie (RI-0035), Tangerine Fusion (RI-0038) and Pumpkin Bread (RI-0056).
I then cut each of the Maple Leaves out using the die from the Hello Fall Bundle, and then I started to assemble the card.
Pumpkin Patch Ribbon (AC-0034) was used on the side of the card (I love this ribbon). The cut out Maple Leaves were adhered using Foam Squares (AD-0085) and then I added a bow using the Pumpkin Patch Ribbon and adhered it using Glue Dots (AC-0083).
Finished it off with some Fashion Gold accents (AC-0292) [these come in Silver as well and I am hoarding both of them – LOL].
May all your hand-made creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.
I hope you have a wonderful week and may you always Give (and receive) Thanks with a Grateful Heart!
