Wildflowers with PanPastels

The minute I saw the Wildflowers stamp I knew that it was meant to be used with our PanPastels. There are so many color combinations that would work well with this stamp.  I wanted a more of a sun setting/nighttime look so I used the Rich Sorbet PanPastels color palette.

Check out this video on how quick and easy you can make this card.

What I love most about using PanPastels is that since we have several color palettes to choose from and you really can make multiple cards with several different looks.

Thank You|Everyday Script|Spring Botanicals

This is such a bright and cheerful card.  I love these colors together.

Thank You

On a scrap piece of Whip Cream (CS-0040) card stock or sticky note stamp the flower image from the Spring Botanicals (SS-0544) stamp set.  You will then cut it out on the outline of the stamp to make a mask.

On a piece of Whip Cream (CS-0040) card stock stamp the same image in Lemon Drop (IP-0043) ink.  Using the Summer Days from the Rich Sorbets PanPastels (JM-0082) add color to the flower using the Journey Sofft Tools (JM-0098).  Then add the mask on to each flower when stamping the leaves in Kiwi Slice (IP-0024) ink.  The other leaves, feather and arrow, you will stamp in Black Licorice Ink (IP-0041).

Stamp Thank You from the Everyday Script (SS-0543) stamp set in Black Licorice Ink (IP-0041) and cut it out using the coordinating die (DI-0406). [This set comes in a bundle as well].

Put Sparkle Silk (IP-0126) on an acrylic block and using the Blending Brush (TO-0097) add the Sparkle Silk to the feathers, arrows and leaves.

ThankYou2

Cut Deco Strips (AC-0285) and affix in a “V” pattern in the center of the stamped panel.  Loop the Journey Twine (AC-0004) and staple in place using the Journey Days Stapler (TO-0118) with Brush Silver Staples (TO-0120).

Using Foam Squares (AD-0085) pop up the Thank you sentiment over the looped Journey Twine Black Licorice (AC-0004).  Add some Magical Candy Drops (AC-0263) and Silver Silk (IP-0090).  Pop up this panel onto a Lemon Drop (CS-0018) card base.

ThankYou3

Thank You | Everyday Script

I have been working on customer Thank You cards.  I thought what better way to brighten their day, especially if they are experiencing the winter snow and cold as I am, than with Spring Botanicals.

Thank You Panpastels

On a piece from the Spring Filled Prints (PP-0051), I stamped the Thank You sentiment from Everyday Script (SS-0543) in Black Licorice (IP-0041) ink.  I used Fresh Forest (IP-0013) and Lemon Grass (IP-0022) ink to stamp some of the leaf images from the Spring Botanicals Bundle (BD-0343) onto this piece as well.  I then adhered a strip of the Spring Filled Prints (PP-0051) onto a strip of Mirror Gold (CS-0136).

On a scrap piece of Whip Cream (CS-0040) card stock, I stamped one of the floral images from the Spring Botanicals Bundle (BD-0343) in Sweet Berry (IP-IP-0029) ink and cut it out using the coordinating die. Using the Rich Sorbets (JM-0082) Pan Pastels, I applied it to the darker parts of the flower. This really adds a lot of dimension.  I popped this piece up using Foam Squares (AD-0085).  A Sparkle Drop (AC-0022) was added to the center.

Thank You Panpastels 2

The images from the Spring Botancials (BD-0343) bundle are great on their own but adding the PanPastels to the darker parts of these images really helps to bring it over the top.

More Fun with PanPastels/Thinking of You

I have been having lots of fun over the last few weeks working with the PanPastels.  They are so fun and easy to color your stamped images or background.  I will admit that at first I was a little hesitant but I really do love how easy they are to work with.

I used a piece of Lavender Fusion Cardstock (CS-0017).  I cut a piece of River Stone cardstock (CS-0034) at 5 1/4″ x 4″.  The Whip Cream card panel (CS-0040) is cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″.

Love coloring with PanPastels!!!

Using the Pretty Petals Stamp Set (SS-0455) (reminder this is a host exclusive for order er $300-$599 ).  I stamped some of the images in Black Licorice (IP-0041) ink.  I colored in those images using Pretty Pansy from the Rich Sorbets PanPastels (JM-0082) and also Pretty Amethyst from the Confectionary Days PanPastels (JM-0079).  The sentiment came from the Embroidered Greetings Stamp Set (SS-0507) (can I just say I love this stamp set, love how unique the font is) and I stamped it using Black Licorice Ink.

I then added some Silver Silk (IP-0090) and some Journey Celebration Sequins (AC-0115).  (I have used these on a multitude of cards and haven’t event put a dent in the container yet, you get a ton!!).  I added some Cut Rhinestones (AC-0023) to the centers of the flowers and then added Journey Glaze(AD-0003) on the sentiment.

Hope you give our PanPastels a try.  You can order from my on-line store (www.funstampersjourney.com/lorenahann or click on the shopping tab above), 24/7.  I would love to hear from  you on how you like them.  I appreciate all those who follow me and if you never want to miss a post be sure to subscribe to my blog and follow me on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

Backyard BBQ

I am just loving the Spring into Summer Trends Mini Catalog!!!!!  From the stamps sets to Sparkle Silk to the Silver Sparkle Tape to the embellishments.  All I can say is WOW!!!

I am in love with this chalk board look using Clear Pigment Ink and our Pan Pastels.

BBQ1
BBQ Bash/Meat Market/Bucket List

To get the chalk board look, you first stamp your image in Clear Pigment Ink. Then taking the Whip Cream Pan Pastels (from our Party Pop collection), you pat the color on the stamped images.  Once that is done you can wipe the whole piece of cardstock with the Whip Cream Pan Pastels.  Add as little or as much as you want.  It is very important to tap first so that you don’t smear the Clear Pigment Ink.

BBQ3

I wanted to kick it up a notch so I decorated the inside of the card as well using the Simply Bootiful Bundle.  I really think it helped to finish off the card.

BBQ4
Added Sparkle Silk to the Boots to give them a little extra WOW!

What a fun way to invite guests to a Backyard BBQ, Pig Roast, Father’s Day Gathering, Graduation Party or Barn Raising!!!!  So kick up your heels this summer for some real BBQing!!!!

I can’t wait to come up with more creations using the BBQ Bash, Meat Market and Bucket List Stamp Sets from the Spring into Summer Trends Mini Catalog!!!

Stay Wild/Adventure Awaits/Panpastels

I LOVE using the Panpastels from Fun Stampers Journey (FSJ). They are so easy to use and the results are just beautiful.

The same technique was used for both cards.  The card on top shows a darker background and the card on the bottom shows a lighter background.  Using Panpastels makes it very easy to control and build up your background colors.
