Game On | Party Invitations

I needed to come up with party invitations for a gaming party.  I didn’t have a lot of time to put them together and was super thrilled at how quickly they came together using the Game On, Party Reminders and Neon Sign ATS’s. [I love how many detailed stamps you get with our ATS’s – these ATS’s really bring these party invitations to the next level]!!

On a piece of Whip Cream cardstock I randomly stamped the images from the Game on Stamp set in the following inks:  Black Licorice, Candy Apple, Kiwi Slice, Summer Days, Rock Candy and Denim Days.

The Whip Cream panel was then layered onto a piece of Black Licorice cardstock.

This panel was adhered to a Whip Cream card base.

The game controller image was stamped in Clear Pigment Ink and then heat embossed using Black Licorice Embossing Powder. The images were cut out using Detail Shears.  The buttons of the controller were colored in using the Color Burst Pencils.  [Because they are embossed you really can’t color outside the lines so it is a great way to get the kids involved – they can color while you do the stamping!]

It’s a Party was stamped in Kiwi Slice ink and cut out using the coordinating dies.  I love how the image from the Party Reminders ATS looks like it is glowing.  I used #018 from our Color Burst Pencils to color it.

Using Denim Days and the It’s a Party die cut, I cut out pieces to layer behind these colored pieces.

I wanted to jazz up the inside of these invites as well so I stamped the Celebrating image from the Neon Sign ATS in Black Licorice ink onto a piece of Whip Cream cardstock. This panel was then layered onto a Black Licorice panel before being adhered to the inside of the card with Easy Glide

To finish of the invites, Black Licorice Journey Thread was used to make the cord for the game controller.  The It’s a Party and the game controller were adhered to the front of the card using Foam Squares.

And yes, I had to finish of the invitations by stamping the envelope as well.

These were really quick and easy to put together.

Our ATS’s are jammed packed with images and did you know that if you have an order of $150 (before tax and shipping) you can get an ATS for Free!  How awesome is that.

Reminder – all our solid cardstock and ink pads are on sale at 20% off until September 30, 2018.

Game On!

May all your handmade creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.
