Life is Good

I am having so much fun playing with all the new products from the Good Life collection that I felt bad that I was neglecting some of my favorite stamps that have been around for a bit.  So I decided to incorporate one of my favorites with Good Life collection.  Summer Rose!!!  Yes, I love the Summer Rose stamp set – it is so pretty and I thought it complemented the Good Life collection just beautifully.

On a piece of Tin Pail card stock, I stamped the Vintage Notes image using Oatmeal Cookie ink.  I wanted to give a little something to the background but didn’t want to over power it.  Then I stamped the images from the Summer Rose stamp set in the following inks:  Rustic Rose, Pomegranate Splash, Kiwi Slice, Fresh Sage, and Fresh Forest and then added Gold Silk.

I took one of the wood grain papers from the Good Life Prints and stamped the sentiment that came from the Farmyard Friends in River Stone ink.  I then stamped some of the images from the Summer Rose stamp set like I did on the first panel.  I adhered this piece to the Tin Pail panel using Easy Glide.

I added some of the Fresh Sage Satin Ribbon to the card front and also added the Peaches and Cream Thread.  This panel was adhered to a piece of Fresh Sage using Easy Glide before being popped up onto a Peaches and Cream card base using Foam Squares.

To finish off the card I added some Cottage Pearls, Meadow Pearls and Sunrise Mix Sequins.
