Kids Dream | Big Things…Small Beginnings |Never Give Up

I am huge on inspirational cards, especially for kids. I think it helps kids to be self-confident by reminding them how very special they are and to never give up on their dreams.  Kids Dream, Starry Night and Text Happy stamp sets really take this card to another galaxy.

Never Give Up Kids Dream

On a piece of Denim Days card stock, I stamped the Starry Night stamp with Whip Cream ink.   I added Sparkle Silk and Silver Silk to this panel. I attached this panel to a piece of Mirror Silver before popping it up using Foam Squares onto a Black Licorice panel and then finally onto a Whip Cream card base.  [lot of layers but I liked the look it gives this card].

Using Denim Days ink, I stamped the kid image from the Kids Dream Bundle on Whip Cream card stock and colored it in using our Color Burst Pencils.  The image was cut out with the coordinating die.

Using the Garden Fence Die, I cut out a piece of Whip Cream card stock.  To give the fence more detail, I ran it through the Barn Wall Embossing Folder and then taking the Tin Pail ink pad ran it over the embossed part to give the fence more dimension.  Using the Border Details dies, I ran the grass die through my Platinum with a piece of Kiwi Slice card stock.

To finish assembling this card – I adhered the grass to the back of the fence using Craft Glue before adhering it to the card front.  On a scrap piece of Whip Cream card stock, I stamped the Big things…sentiment in Black Licorice ink.  This comes from Text Happy. [This is a great set to have on hand especially to add little words/detail to your projects].

The sentiment strip was adhered to a piece of Mirror Silver and then popped up on the card front using Foam Squares.  The kid image was popped up on the card front using Foam Squares as well.
