Tag your it!! Now that I have your attention I have to share with you the awesome tags I made for the holidays. Yes I know it is early but these are so easy to do and it really doesn’t take up a lot of table space to work on these cuties so they are great to work on while watching TV or to take with you while traveling.
I cut out a whole bunch of tags using the Tag Set die. [I love that this die cuts 3 different size tags]. And because it is a steel rule die, I was able to run 3 pieces of paper through at once to cut out all 3 sizes so in once pass through my die cut machine I was able to get 9 tags. So you can see how quickly you can get a bunch of tags cut out at once.
I stamped them so that I could just color them in at my leaisure.
I decided to add our Gift Twine so that they are ready to go on any package, bag or gift during the holidays. [love this by the way and you get so much it may take me years to use it all – LOL] .
Details for the tags:
The tags were cut out of Whip Cream card stock. I used Cool Pool ink and a Dauber to add color to the tag to make it look like the sky. The sentiments and images were stamped in either Cranberry Bliss or Kiwi Slice ink with the exception of the cabin images that came from the Stay Cozy stamp set, those were stamped in Black Licorice ink.
I colored in the images using our Journey Color Burst Pencils. I finished off the tags by adding Journey Glaze and Sparkle Cuts to make the snow and added some Rhinestones as well. The tags were finished off by adding the Gift Twine.
I will tell you that I love everything [yes everything] in the Journey Holidays Trends Mini. I think the Gnome for the Holidays and Stay Cozy are not only tags but cards and scrapbook pages too – the images have so much detail.
May all your handmade creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.
Happy tag making!
