Hexi Strip Die| Small Things

Have you ever thought to die cut both sides of your card base?  I didn’t.  But at a retreat I went to last month, we made this card.  I love the look of it and can’t wait to try it with the other dies that Fun Stampers Journey has.

Using a Whip Cream (CS-0040) card base, you will run the Hexi Strip (DI-0265) die through your die cut machine.  You will need to run it through several times.  [Be sure to keep the Hexagon pieces that come out from the die – you can use them on another craft project].  Using Easy Glide (AD-0081) adhere a piece of Pumpkin Bread (CS-0098) to the panel that is not cut out.

Using the Timeless Folilage (SR-0036) Steel Rule Die, cut out a piece of Fresh Forest (CS-0011).  On a piece of Whip Cream cardstock, stamp the Butterfly image from the Small Things Bundle (BD-0373) in Black Licorice ink (IP-0041) and cut it out using the coordinating die.  You can color in your butterfly image using any method, I used Liquid Color.  Attached the butterfly using Foam Squares (AD-0084 or AD-0085).

Emboss the sentiment from the Small Things Bundle using Gold Embossing Powder (IP-010) on a piece of Vellum (PP-0044).   Adhere this to the card front using Glue Dots (AD-0083).
