Happy Birthday

Ok I have a confession, I literally bought the Date Me (SS-0494) stamp set so that I could make the card that is on page 109 from the 2017 – 2018 Inspiration Book & Catalog.  I know, I know, I know but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.  LOL   [I do have to say that I love that our catalog is packed not only with great products but also awesome project ideas].

Here is my version – I improvised a little bit.

Happy Birthday Date Me 2

On a piece of Whip Cream (CS-0040) I stamped some of the images in Fresh Forest (IP-0013) and Sweet Berry (IP-0029) ink.  This panel was adhered to a Sweet Berry (CS-0034) panel before being adhered to a Whip Cream (CS-0040) card base.

On a scrap piece of Whip Cream card stock, I stamped the Happy in Bubble Gum (IP-0058) and the Birthday in Sweet Berry (IP-0029) ink and flagged the end.  I cut a strip of Fresh Forest (CS-0011) card stock and flagged the end as well.  Using the Border Basics Die (DI-0144), I cut a piece of Bubble Gum (CS-0099) and popped it up on the card front with Foam Squares ( AD-0085).  Adhered the Fresh Forest and Whip Cream pieces using Foam Squares (AD-0085) as well.

Here are the measurements:
Whip Cream = 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 for the card base, 5 x 3 3/4 for the top card panel, and then scrap for the flagged piece
Sweet Berry = 5 1/4 x 4
Fresh Forest = scrap for the flagged piece
Bubble Gum = scrap for Border Basics Dies

May all your handmade creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.
