Joy Bundle | Baby Card (video)

This is a super quick, super easy and super cute baby card.  I am a bit old fashion and love the element of surprise.  So creating a boy/girl card works perfect for me.  All the stamps used came from the Joy Bundle Bundle (BD-0267).  [This is such a great set, I am so sad to see that is on the retired list].

On a Whip Cream (CS-0040) card base, the inside sentiment was stamped in Black Licorice (IP-0041).  [I always stamp the inside first when I don’t add an additional panel to the inside, this way if you make a mistake you can easily fold it over and cover it with the card front].

On the card front, I added a piece of Pool Play (CS-0092) and Bubble Gum (CS-0099).  Then on a Whip Cream panel Boy was stamped in Pool Play ink (IP-0051) and Girl was stamped in Bubble Gum ink (IP-0058).  This panel was adhered to the card front.

The Stork was stamped in Black Licorice onto a Whip Cream piece of card stock and cut out with the coordinating die.  The Bag was stamped in Summer Days ink (IP-0042) onto a piece of Banana Cream (CS-0087) card stock and cut out with the coordinating die.

Both the Stork and Bag were popped up onto the card front using Foam Squares (AD-0084 & AD-0085).  Lemon Grass Thread (AC-0132) was tied around the bag.  [I did this after it was attached to the card.  Sliding the thread under the bag, using the Stork as another hand so to speak to it was easier for me to tie the thread.]

Candy Dots (AC-0134) were added to finish off the card.  [The Candy Dots are on the retired list as well].  You can easily change this card  and make it specifically for a boy or a girl.

Here is a quick video on how to make this card.

May all your handmade creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.

Happy crafting!
