Tools Rule | Happy Birthday

The Lots of Dots (DI-0424) Die Set is a new die in the Spring into Summer Trends Mini Catalog (CL-0035).  I have so many ideas for it. The first time I saw it I immediately thought of peg board.  I thought the Tools Rule Bundle (BD-0135) would go great with it.

Using a piece of our White Liner Sheets (AD-0113), I added it to the bottom of a Hazelnut Blend (CS-0013) card base and added our Silver Shavings (AC-0344) [I thought it looked like saw dust and really went with the inside sentiment].

I cut out a piece of Oatmeal Cookie (CS-0023) cardstock with the Lots of Dots Die Set.  I cut one of our Fusion Ink Sponges (JM-0014) and used it to sponge the edged and front with Oatmeal Cookie Ink (IP-0011).  This piece was popped up on the card base using Foam Squares (AD-0084).

I embossed a piece of Brush Silver (CS-0135) using the Diamond Netting (EF-0026) embossing folder and adhered that to the card base using Easy Glide (AD-0081).  I popped up a piece of Corrugated (ST-0124) card stock between the peg board and diamond plate using Foam Squares (AD-0085).

All the images I used from the Tools Rule Bundle (BD-0135) were stamped in Black Licorice Ink (IP-0041) onto either Lemon Drop (CS-0018), River Stone (CS-0094) or Oatmeal Cookie (CS-0023) cardstock and cut out with the coordinating die. [with the exception of the hammer, that I cut out free hand as there is no die for that image].  I colored them in using Color Burst Pencils (JM-0077).  They were then popped up using Foam Squares and the hammer I adhered using Craft Glue (AD-0111).

The Happy Birthday came from the Inside & Out (SS-0576) stamp set was stamped in Black Licorice ink onto a scrap piece of Oatmeal Cookie cardstock. I fussy cut this out and then sponged the edges with Oatmeal Cookie ink before popping it up with Foam Squares onto the card front.

For the inside of the card the sentiments and image were stamped in Black Licorice ink.
