You mean the world to me

I had so much fun making this card.  I love that I was able to use different techniques.

You mean the world to me

On a piece of Black Licorice (CS-0003) card stock, I embossed the Starry Night (SS-0357) stamp set using Silver Embossing Powder (IP-0100).  I adhered that to a piece of Mirror Silver (CS-0137) and then onto a Whip Cream (CS-0040) card base using Easy Glide (AD-0081).

I have started to really enjoy working with our Color Splash Pencils.  I don’t always break them out but I am definitely going to keep them close by.

Using a Color Splash Watercolor Paper (JM-0076), Color Splash Pencils (JM-0078) and a Medium Blending Brush (TO-0098), I made the colors of the earth.  After making it sure it was completely dry [you can use a heat tool (TO-0083) to speed up the drying process]  I cut out the Color Splash Sheet using the Journey Circles (DI-0039) .  I stamped the sentiment from the Ampersand (SS-0137) in Black Licorice (IP-0041) ink and stamped it on the center of the earth.  Added some Black Licorice Silk (IP-0143) and Silver Silk (IP-0090).

Using the same Journey Circles Dies, I cut out a piece of Lemon Drop (CS-0018) and layered it behind the earth piece.  Using Foam Squares (AD-0085), that piece was popped up onto the card front.  I really like how it turned out.
