As a crafter I have a ton of ideas always floating around in my head for card designs, color combos or new ways to use products. From time to time I get crafters block. Does this ever happen to you? Fun Stampers Journey always comes to the rescue. As a coach we have access to monthly projects with a supply list and instructions. So when I was preparing for an upcoming class and I needed one more card design and the creative juices weren’t flowing, I did not fret! I went to my Coach Dashboard and pulled up this gorgeous creation!
On a panel of Pomegranate Splash (CS-0027) card stock the Create A Dot (SS-0438) stamp was stamped at an angle using Whip Cream (IP-0009) ink. Electric Lime (IP-0108) and Citrus Cooler (IP-0093) Silks were added to the panel before it was adhered to a Sweet Pear (CS-0095) card base.
On a piece of Whip Cream (CS-0040) card stock, Hello Friend from the Greeting Trends (SS-0166) stamp set was stamped in Black Licorice (IP-0041) ink and then cut out using the Journey Circles (DI-0039). Using a piece of Orange Creamsicle (CS-0024) card stock and the Everyday Tags (DI-0255), a tag was cut out and popped up on an angle on the Pomegranate Splash card front. A piece of Journey Girl Stripes Ribbon (AC-0158) was adhered to the tag using Easy Glide (AD-0081) . [I have to be honest here, in the catalog I didn’t really care for the Journey Girl Stripes. When I got it in my order, boy did my view change. I love it and I think I might start hoarding it.]
The Hello Friend was adhered to the card front using Foam Squares (AD-0085). Then using the Small Dauber Dowel (TO-0137) and Orange Creamsicle Ink (IP-0015), color was added to the edge of the petals of the Spring Kisses (AC-0303). These were then adhered to the card front using Glue Dots (AD-0083).
To finish off the card Special Celebration Sequins (AC-0115) were added to the center of the flowers and card front using Glue Dots. Licorice Twist Twine (AC-0267) was added around the front of the card and tied in a bow.
I love the color combination and layout, just gorgeous!!!
May all your hand-made creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.
And may your days of having crafters block be few and far between! Happy stamping!
