I picked the Type Block (AT-0131) as one of my free ATSs with one of my orders. [See the details in the beginning of either of our catalogs on what rewards you get for being a host if your order is $150 or more]. Not sure what I was going to do with it but then inspiration struck after looking through our Annual Catalogs. I love that our catalogs give you such great inspiration. Whether you create the craft project as they did or whether it inspires you to create outside the box so to speak and come up with your own version.
I used the Love Stripes (EF-0013) Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Pomegranate Splash (CS-0027) card stock. This piece was layered onto a Black Licorice (CS-0003) card base. I cut a piece from the Through the Year Prints (PP-0050) [they carried this over from the Journey Holidays Mini, so you can still order this through the end of June 2018 – awesome, right, I love this paper pack]! That piece was popped up onto the card front using Foam Squares (AD-0085).
On a scrap piece of Whip Cream (CS-0040) card stock, I stamped the Type Block (AT-0131) stamp using Black Licorice (IP-0041) ink and adhered that piece onto a piece of Black Licorice (CS-0003) card stock. Using Foam Squares (AD-0085), I popped that panel up onto the card front but at an angle.
Using our Bright Lights (JD-0047), I highlighted the I and the U and then added a heart from the Love Filled (AC-0345) accents over the L. Using Glue Dots (AD-0083), I added a bow using Black Licorice Twine (AC-0004).
For the inside I used some scrap pieces from the Through the Year Prints (PP-0050) and added it to the top and bottom of a piece of Whip Cream card stock. Using Black Licorice Ink (IP-0041) and Candy Apple Ink (IP-0017), I stamped the images from the Be Mine (SS-0130) stamp set. [The Be Mine stamp set also has coordinating dies and comes in a bundle as well].
May all your hand-made creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.
