Be Brave – Have Courage

I am participating in the Fun Stampers Journey Be Brave Card Drive.  I wanted to share one of the cards that I will be sending to them for this initiative.

Be Brave 2
A card can really lift someone’s spirits.

I used River Stone (CS-0094) cardstock for the base of the card, 5 1/2 x 11, scored at 4 1/4.  I stamped a piece of Watermelon Fusion (CS-0039) card stock 4 x 5 1/4 using River Stone Ink (IP-0053) with the words StrenghHope from the Be Brave (SS-0148) stamp set.  I stamped the ribbon from the Be Brave stamp set in Watermelon Fusion (IP-0027)  onto a piece of Bubble Gum (CS-0099) cardstock that was cut at 2 3/4 x 4 1/2.   The Be Brave from the same stamp set was stamped using Black Licorice Ink (IP-0041).

I popped up the Bubble Gum panel using Foam Squares (AD-0055).  I finished off the front of the card with some Journey Sequins – Pink World (AC-0112) adhered them to the card using Glue Dots (AD-0083).

I wanted to add an inspiring message to the inside of the card.  I added a piece of Bubble Gum cardstock to the inside panel that was cut at 4 x 5 1/4.  I stamped Have Courage from the Take Action (SS-0449) stamp set using Black Licorice Ink.  I stamped the Dove with Ribbon image from the Be Brave Stamp set using Bubble Gum Ink (IP-0058).

Love the font from this set.

I am a huge fan of encouraging/inspirational messages and Fun Stampers Journey has a whole section of the catalog dedicated to them.  I have only used a few but believe me, there are many more available.
