Ink it Up!!

Here is another cool technique I learned that you can achieve using your clear blocks and an ink pad.  I used Clear Blocks B & C (TO-0035 and TO-0036).

Can you figure out my oops in this picture?  Just keepin’ it real!

You take the non grid side of your clear block and ink it up using the ink pad color of your choice and stamp onto your cardstock.  Be sure to clean off your blocks very well between colors.

Be sure to clean off your blocks really good between colors.

The ink pad colors I used for this card were Orange Rave (IP-0113), Turbo Teal (IP-0116), Electric Lime (IP-0112), Cosmic Grape (IP-0111), Outrageous Pink (IP-0114) and Sour Lemon (IP-0115).

The design possibilities are endless.

Adhered the Whip Cream (CS-0040) card base to a piece of Black Licorice cardstock (CS-0003) and then onto a piece of Sour Lemon cardstock (CS-0126).

I stamped Make-A-Wish (AT-0246) in Black Licorice Ink (IP-0041) and then cut it out.  There is a die for this and it is definitely on my need to order list!!!

I added some Silver Silk (IP-0090), Sparkle Silk (IP-0126) and Electric Lime Silk (IP-0108) to the card.  Added a small piece of Black Licorice cardstock along with a piece of our Decostrips in Black (AC-0285) (our Decostrips also come in red).  Popped up the Make a Wish with Foam Squares (AD-0085).

I love this font!!

The inside sentiment Happy Birthday came from the Dude Ranch Stamp Set (SS-0477) – this stamp set has matching dies available also.

This is a very quick card and this technique is another great way to get the most out of your craft supplies.

May all your hand-made creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.
