More Fun with PanPastels/Thinking of You

I have been having lots of fun over the last few weeks working with the PanPastels.  They are so fun and easy to color your stamped images or background.  I will admit that at first I was a little hesitant but I really do love how easy they are to work with.

I used a piece of Lavender Fusion Cardstock (CS-0017).  I cut a piece of River Stone cardstock (CS-0034) at 5 1/4″ x 4″.  The Whip Cream card panel (CS-0040) is cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″.

Thnking of You (2) Panpastels
Love coloring with PanPastels!!!

Using the Pretty Petals Stamp Set (SS-0455) (reminder this is a host exclusive for order er $300-$599 ).  I stamped some of the images in Black Licorice (IP-0041) ink.  I colored in those images using Pretty Pansy from the Rich Sorbets PanPastels (JM-0082) and also Pretty Amethyst from the Confectionary Days PanPastels (JM-0079).  The sentiment came from the Embroidered Greetings Stamp Set (SS-0507) (can I just say I love this stamp set, love how unique the font is) and I stamped it using Black Licorice Ink.

I then added some Silver Silk (IP-0090) and some Journey Celebration Sequins (AC-0115).  (I have used these on a multitude of cards and haven’t event put a dent in the container yet, you get a ton!!).  I added some Cut Rhinestones (AC-0023) to the centers of the flowers and then added Journey Glaze(AD-0003) on the sentiment.

Hope you give our PanPastels a try.  You can order from my on-line store ( or click on the shopping tab above), 24/7.  I would love to hear from  you on how you like them.  I appreciate all those who follow me and if you never want to miss a post be sure to subscribe to my blog and follow me on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

Get Well Soon/Hello Sunflower

I am a huge Sunflower fan (can you tell, LOL).  I was like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for this month’s Bloom Box to arrive.  I love getting the Bloom Box.  Not only do I love the projects you can create with it but I also love to come up with my own.  I always learn something new when I make my Bloom Box.

GetWellSoon Hello Sunflower.jpg
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stamp set!!!

I used Pineapple Smoothie (CS-0026) for the card base.  I cut a piece of Rich Coral (CS-0093) to 5 1/4″ x 4″.  (Can I just say that Rich Coral is now one of my favorite cardstock colors!!!).  Using the Get Well Soon from the Get Well Stamp Set (SS-0031), I stamped it onto the Rich Coral base using Black Licorice Ink (IP-0041).  I then cut a strip of Oatmeal Cookie (CS-0023) to 5 1/4″ x 1 1/2″.  Using the HoneyComb ATS (AT-0090) I stamped it in Hazelnut Blend Ink (IP-0012) onto the Oatmeal Cookie piece.  I adhered this piece to the Rich Coral panel and then attached a piece of Green Olive Grosgrain Ribbon (AC-0248).  [I love cutting ribbon with our Grand Pro Shears (TO-0064), they are amazing!! Nothing sticks to them and they are self sharpening.]  Using Easy Glide (AD-0081), I adhered it to the Pineapple Smoothie card base.

Using the Journey Ovals (DI-0042), I cut out a piece of Pool Play (CS-0092) and Buttercream (CS-0006) using the same size oval for both.  I stamped the smaller sunflower from the Hello Sunflower September 2017 Bloom Box onto the Buttercream oval piece using Black Licorice ink.  I used the Journey Color Burst Pencils (JM-0077) to color it in using #015, #016, #021, #023 and #039.  I added some Journey Gold Silk (IP-0096) before adhering it to the Pool Play oval (slightly offset).  Then using Foam Squares (AD-0085) I adhered it to the card.

The September 2017 Bloom Box – Hello Sunflower is now only available while supplies last using product number KO-0003.

With Sympathy/Butterfly

Unfortunately one can never have too many Sympathy cards on hand.  I love this one because it is really beautiful and it is fairly easy to put together.

I used the stamp sets Beautiful Wings (SS-0353) and Bird Melody (SS-0496).  (Bird Melody also has matching dies or you can buy as a bundle and save some $ for other treasure for your stamping stash).

With Sympathy Butterfly
I love these stamp sets.

I used Whip Cream cardstock (CS-0040) for my card front cut at 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″.  Beautiful Wings uses three set stamping.  I stamped on of the images in Summer Days ink (IP-0042), the other in Citrus Cooler ink (IP-0048) and then the outline butterfly in Black Licorice ink (IP-0041).  The sentiment came from the Bird Melody stamp set and was stamped using Black Licorice ink.

I used Foam Squares (AD-0085) to adhere the Whip Cream card front to a Summer Days (CS-0033) card base that was 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″.

I stamped an extra butterfly on a scrap piece of Whip Cream cardstock and cut it out using Detail Pro Shears (TO-0063).    Then I used my Crease Tool (TO-0040) to shape the wings of the butterfly to really “bring paper to life”.    I adhered some Black Twine (AC-0004) to the back of the butterfly using foam squares and then attached it to the card front.

To finish off the card I added some of the Sparkle Silk (IP-0126).

Happy Crafting!!

Yee Haw Birthday

The Vintage Sound (SS-0328) and Dude Ranch Bundle (BD-0281) make a great combination.

I stamped the guitar from the Vintage Sound stamp set with Cocoa Powder Ink (IP-0016) onto a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock (CS-0040) that is 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.  The music notes came from the same stamp set and were stamped in Black Licorice (IP-0041) ink.  Yee Haw came from the Dude Ranch Bundle (you can buy the stamp set and dies separately or buy them as a bundle and save some $ to spend on other treasures).  I stamped the Yee Haw in Oatmeal Cookie Ink (IP-0011).

YeeHaw Birthday 1.jpg
Love the Dude Ranch Bundle and Vintage Sound Stamp Sets Together!

I took a piece of Denim Days cardstock (CS-0082) that was 4″ x 5 1/4″ and embossed it using the Corrugated Board Embossing Folder (EF-0017).  I popped up the Whip Cream card base onto the embossed piece of Denim Days and adhered that to a Whip Cream card base that is 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″.  I added some Turbo Teal Silk (IP-0119) and Silver Silk (IP-0090) to the card front.

I used Dark Roast Ink (IP-0050) to stamp the cowboy hat from the Dude Ranch Bundle onto Hazelnut Blend Cardstock (CS-0013) and cut it out using the coordinating die.  Then I stamped Happy Birthday (from that same bundle) using Denim Days Ink (IP-0010) onto a piece of Whip Cream cardstock and flagged the end.  I had an piece of Corrugated Cardstock (ST-0124) and flagged the end as well and popped those up onto the card front.  Added some Journey Natural Twine (AC-0005) and popped up the cowboy hat over that with Foam Squares (AD-0085).

I couldn’t stop there, I had to use the boots from the Dude Ranch Bundle and decided to stamp those on the inside using Cocoa Powder Ink.  I thought the saying from the Adventure Awaits (SS-0334) stamp set went perfectly with the card. That was stamped using Cocoa Powder ink as well.

YeeHaw Birthday 2.jpg
Adventure Awaits Stamp Set really complements these boots.

I hope you have a Yee Haw day!!!

Thinking of You (PanPastels)

I love our PanPastels.  They are so easy to work with and so many ways to use them.

For today’s card I used a piece of Whip Cream Card Stock (CS-0040) cut to 5″ x 3 3/4″.  I used the Pretty Pansy pot from the Rich Sorbets Panpastels (JM-0085).  I started at the bottom of the Whip Cream Card Stock and sponged on the Pretty Pansy color and the worked it up toward the top.  You want the bottom to be darker and the top to be lighter.  I used the Colorless Blender (JM-0095) so smooth out the transition.

Thinking of You Panpastels with glaze
Journey Glaze added to the sentiment

I used Black Licorice Ink (IP-0041) to stamp the sentiment Thinking of You that comes from the Embroidered Greetings (SS-0507) stamp set.  I also stamped some of the images in Black Licorice Ink from the Pretty Petals (SS-0455) stamp set (this stamp set is a host exclusive with a $300 – $599 order – there is a matching die set to match that is a host exclusive as well).

I took an eraser (I used a Hi Polymer Eraser by Pentel, it worked great), to remove some of the PanPastels in the flower area.  (That is the great thing about PanPastels, you can fix your mistakes!).

You don’t have to, but I lightly sprayed the panel with aerosol hairspray to set the PanPastels a little bit more before using Easy Glide (AD-0081) to adhere it to the Black Licorice (CS-0003) panel that was cut at 5 1/4″  x 4″.  The Black Licorice panel was then adhered to a Deep Lilac (CS-0096) card base cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ .

Thinking of You Panpastels without glaze
Without Journey Glaze added to the sentiment.

I finished off the card by adding some Silver Silk (IP-0090) and Journey Sequins Special Celebration (AC-0115).  I added a Cut Rhinestone (AC-0023) to the center of the big flower and then applied Journey Glaze (AD-0003) to the sentiment.

May all your hand-made creations be Inked with Kindness, Stamped with Love.

Just a reminder that our Media Mix Promotion is going on and the PanPastels are  20% off!!  The sale ends September 30, 2017.

Vintage Sound/Happy Birthday

I love music!!!  There was nothing like listening to a record on the record player.  Listening to all the clicks and pops and yes the times when you had to put a penny on the needle so it wouldn’t skip (boy have we come a long way).  LOL – so the minute I saw the Vintage Sound stamp set (SS-0328) I had to get it.  I just knew it would be a big hit!  I decided to make a birthday card with it for another music lover in my family.

Vintage Sound
Vintage Sound Stamp Set (SS-0328)

I stamped the guitar from the Vintage Sound Stamp Set (SS-0328) onto a Hazelnut Blend (CS-0013) card base using Dark Roast (IP-0050) ink.  I used some of the images from the same stamp and embossed them onto Whip Cream (CS-0040) cardstock.  Before embossing I prep my cardstock by using our Colorless Blender (JM-0095) to help reduce the static.  The records and music notes from the Vintage Sound Stamp Set were stamped with Clear Pigment Ink (IP-0102) and embossed using Black Embossing Powder (IP-0099) and for the record adapter, I stamped the image in Lemon Drop (IP-0043) Ink and the very quickly applied Clear Embossing Powder (IP-0097).  [Our inks dry quickly (which I love) so I wanted to make sure that I applied the Clear Embossing Powder right away and then heat set with the Heat Tool (TO-0083). ]

Vintage Sound 2
Love how the records look embossed.

I added some Silver Silk (IP-0090) and Turbo Teal Silk (IP-0119) to the panel before I adhered it to a piece of Pool Play (CS-0092) cardstock which I popped up using Foam Squares (AD-0085) onto the Hazelnut Blend card base.

I cut a piece of Vellum (PP-0044) using our Journey Circle Dies (DI-0039) (these come with a piercing element as well).  Popped that up using Foam Squares and added a piece of Journey Silver Thread (AC-0204) before adding the sentiment that was stamped in Dark Roast Ink (IP-0050) onto Whip Cream cardstock and cut out using the Details Pro Shears (TO-0063).

I felt the card still needed a little something so I added some of our Rainbow Drops (AC-0178). (You get a variety of colors and sizes with these gems – I have 2 sets, one to use and one to just look at!).

I wanted to add a little something to the inside of the card as well so I used Pool Play Ink (IP-0051) to stamp the Vintage Notes (SS-0303).  I didn’t want a full impression so when I applied the ink I made sure that it was applied randomly to the image.  Happy Birthday was stamped in Dark Roast Ink (IP-0050) and came from the Cake Time Stamp Set (SS-0138).  I wanted to continue the pattern from the front of the card so I added some Silver Silk and Turbo Teal Silk to the inside of the card as well.

Vintage Sound 3
Love to bring elements from the outside of the card to the inside.

I love the images from the Vintage Sound stamp set and didn’t get to use them all on this card so I just had to stamp the envelope (ST-0118) as well.

Vintage Sound Env
Used more images from the Vintage Notes Stamp Set to decorate the envelope.

Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart

I know it is not official Fall yet but how can you resist this card with this wonderful saying.  It can be used for so many things, I have been having fun creating with the Hello Fall Bundle (BD-0299) and thought I would make some Thank You cards to have on hand.  I have found that you can never have too many Thank You cards on hand.  I know I go through a lot of them.  What about you?

Give Thanks 2
I love this saying from the Pumpkin Kisses Stamp Set.

The stamp sets I used were the Hello Fall Bundle (BD-0299).  I have used this stamp set before on a previous post.  It is just so versatile and a great add to your stash.  The saying came from the Pumpkin Kisses stamp set (SS-00526).  I love the sayings in this set and can see me using them on my scrapbook pages too.  The sentiment was stamped in Dark Roast (IP-0050) ink onto Banana Cream (CS-0087) cardstock.  I find I am using the Banana Cream cardstock more and more especially for fall cards.

I embossed the Maple leaf image from the Hello Fall Bundle using our Gold Embossing Powder (IP-0101) on Pomegranate Splash cardstock (CS-0025).  Then cut it out with the coordinating dies using the Amaze Machine (TO-0134).  I love this machine, compact and it gets the job done.  (Plus I love the green!!).

I stamped the background leaf image in Green Olive ink (IP-0072). Gold Silk (IP-0096) and Cranberry Bliss Silk (IP-0094) were added to for extra interest.  Since the Cranberry Bliss Silk is a little thicker than the Gold Silk, it does add texture to your card.  I added some Fashion Gold (AC-0292) elements (they come in Silver as well).  And there are various sizes in the pack.  I am going to have to stock up on these since I know I will be using them on my holiday cards as well.

Give Thanks 1
I love the Fall colors on this card.

I took the Banana Cream panel and attached it to a piece of Dark Roast (CS-0091) cardstock before adhering it to my Pomegrante Splash (CS-0025) card base.

I used the Crease Tool (TO-0040) to shape the Maple Leaf (not sure it shows up in the photo) and then popped it up using Foam Squares (AD-0085) .  Added a bow using Natural Twine (AC-0005) and some Glue Dots (AD-0111).

I also like to decorate my envelopes.  I think it gives a nice touch and who doesn’t like happy mail!!

I love our Oatmeal Cookie A2 envelopes (ST-0119)

Whip Cream A2 envelope (ST-0118)

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and that it has inspired you to make some Fall cards even if it isn’t officially Fall yet.
